Marianne Mitten Owen, a partner in the Lafayette office of the law firm Stuart & Branigin, has been inducted as chairwoman-elect of the House of Delegates of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Her term will expire in October 2011, after which she will become the chairwoman.

Owen is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is a member of county, state and national bar associations, the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and the Indiana Bar Foundation.
