Laura Snell was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Hanover College.  Pursuing her interest in healthcare, Laura attended nursing school at Ivy Tech Community College. She is currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. Laura’s background in healthcare and experiences as a nurse provides a unique perspective for the firm’s clients.

Laura earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2025. During her time at Loyola, Laura completed the Certificate in Health Law and the Certificate in Compliance with a focus on healthcare.  Laura received the opportunity to publish in the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences. She also participated in the Community Law Center Clinic Guardianship Practicum assisting families with disabled children in the guardianship process.

While finishing law school, Laura began clerking at Stuart and Branigin in 2023. She joined the firm as an associate in the fall of 2025. During her time at Stuart & Branigin, Laura has supported clients in personal injury, creditor’s rights, trusts and estates, and in other general litigation matters. In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking, swimming, reading, and spending time with her husband, children, and two dogs.
